The Orchid Species Preservation Foundation (OSPF) was formed in 1991 as a volunteer run and registered non-profit foundation by a group of local orchid enthusiasts to work in partnership with the City of Edmonton’s Muttart Conservatory, located in Alberta, Canada.
Their goal was to develop a ‘world renowned’ orchid species collection for educational, community participation and conservational purposes.
Membership is open to all individuals, national and international orchid groups and organizations who share the OSPF’s ideals on orchid species conservation, education and cooperative participation.
